Registration

Online Registration will close 15 January 12:00 noon JST.

If you are unable to register online, it is possible to register on-site at the conference. On-site registration must be made in cash, JPY, at the registration desk. Details of the on-site payment location will be provided later on website. The registration fees offer participants the following:

  • Admission to all sessions and exhibitions
  • Conference program (available online)
  • Conference mug to be used at coffee breaks
  • One welcome reception
  • Three Lunches
  • One conference dinner
  • Several refreshment breaks throughout the conference

*Please note that the registration fee is not subject to consumer tax.

Single day registration is possible on-site at the registration desk, only cash payments will be accepted. Single day registration fees are inclusive of all items listed above with the exception of the conference dinner. If you wish to attend the conference dinner please register at the registration desk and pay JPY5000, only cash payments will be accepted.

If you wish to attend only the conference lunch please pay JPY2,500 cash at the registration desk.

**Please note that in order to gain the benefit of the reduced early registration fee you need to complete the registration form and pay the registration fee on or before 30 November 2012, 23:59 JST.

Accommodation and travel is not included in the registration fee. For hotel information please visit our Hotels page.

Students must supply a document proving their current ‘student’ status either by email to TokyoESG2013@ias.unu.edu and/or upon arrival at conference registration. Documentation can include items such as a current student identification card or faculty member letter stating the student is currently enrolled at a college or university. If documentation is not provided upon arrival at the conference, the participant will be charged the full registration fee. Members of co-sponsoring institutions may be asked to provide evidence of their affiliation, such as photocopies of business cards or letters with relevant information.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests must be received by the Office of Conference Services, e-mail TokyoESG2013@ias.unu.edu no later than 5:00 p.m, 14 January 2013 JST. A JPY 5000 administrative fee will be charged for each cancellation resulting in a refund. No cancellation requests will be honored after this time.

Non-liability Clause

The organizers are not liable for the consequences of any unpredictable event that might disturb the sequence of the conference.
